When we lived in Bosnia, just after the war, it was difficult to find kid-friendly glue. So we made our own!
This glue is great for sticking paper and card, and can be applied using a paintbrush. My boys used to like cutting pictures out of magazines and making collages. It’s also great as a paper mache paste as it sets super hard.
Here’s how to make homemade glue:
Mix together 1 tablespoon of flour with 3 tablespoons of water. And that’s it!
Have fun! And do wash your brushes immediately after use, otherwise you will end up with a rock hard brush that you can never use again!
